Assistance With Daily Life
When it comes to Assistance with daily living, we are looking at all the routine tasks and activities one does on a day-to-day basis. For people with disabilities, this includes things like getting out of bed and showering; eating dinner; getting prepared for the day; and heading out into the community. At Australian Support Services (WA), we provide high-quality, individualized support in the comfort of your own home or in your community environment and also to maintain a clean, safe, and pleasant living environment for you. We can support you with your daily living tasks to ensure the independent lifestyle that you choose. We have a team of skilled
professionals who offer support to ensure your daily routine and household tasks are easily achievable.

Travel and Transport Assistance
Transport is an essential aspect of life for people living with disabilities that allows them to engage with the community, contribute to the economy, educate themselves, and achieve greater independence. We provide a range of services, from assisting with public transportation to providing modified vehicles. Participants whose disabilities prevent them from accessing ordinary forms of transport can take advantage of special arrangements that cater to their specific needs.
Which includes:
- Van with a hoist for wheelchair-bound participants
- Travel training Availability
- Group activity transport
- Shared transport arrangements with other participants
Community participation and social activities
Social and community services are about supporting people with disabilities to take part in their community. This is literally getting out and about, meeting people, and trying new things. Those might be an art class, going on a holiday, learning to play an instrument, or loads of other activities. We offer support to help you improve your ability to participate in community, social and recreational activities that include:
- Outdoor or indoor sporting activities
- Animal farms and zoo
- Attending group & center-based activities, i.e. art groups, meditation, etc.
- Restaurants and cafés
- Attending music concerts
- Going to picnic spots such as Whiteman Park, Kings Park, etc.
